Prepare for a secure and confident retirement planning with this comprehensive course. It explores key topics, such as the effects of inflation, taxes, investment basics, types of retirement plans, insurance, and estate planning considerations.

Due to snow cancelations and other postponments, this class will begin on May 12th and will run for only 4 sessions.  May 12, 19, 26, & 6/2.  

Building on the foundation from Part 1, this course allows students to refine their sketching skills and deepen their understanding of facial proportions and expression. Under the guidance of ShawnaLee, a board member of the CT Society of Portrait Artists, students will practice more advanced portrait techniques and complete several sketches. A recommended materials list will be emailed to students before the first class.

This comprehensive certification course equips you with the knowledge and credentials to legally operate a boat or personal watercraft and includes the water ski towing endorsement. Once you complete the course and obtain your certification, it is valid for life!

If you already know how to swing dance, this is the course for adding multiple swing dance styles and even more cool moves to your repertoire! Using great swing music from the 1940s to today, learn a variety of fun moves from both open and closed positions, including arm slides, wraps, underarm turns, kicks, foot syncopations, and dips. These dynamic additions will elevate your swing dancing and impress everyone on the dance floor!

This class will have you making beautiful earrings in no time! A great selection of beads will be provided, and you’ll learn essential finishing techniques. The class will focus on design, material options, tool usage, and more. Materials include surgical steel, gold plate, and brass components. Each student will create two stunning pairs of earrings. A $25 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.

In this refresher class offered by AARP for drivers aged 50 and older, students will review the challenges faced by aging drivers and learn strategies for staying safe and confident on the road. Please bring your AARP card to class if you have one. A fee is due at the time of class, payable to “AARP”: $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
