Topics include everyday interactions such as ordering food, making appointments, asking for directions, and discussing personal interests. An introduction to basic Italian vocabulary and sentence structure in the present tense, suitable for a wide variety of tourist situations. Learn useful Italian words and common phrases for travel, questions, exchanging pleasantries, dining out, and asking for directions.

Taught by a graduate of the University of Parma (Italy), study grammar, the practice of the language, and some knowledge of Italian culture. The instructor will email a PDF binder to the students that she has designed and made, in which they can follow all the PowerPoint slides of the lessons with the grammar, glossary, and activities.
