Participants learn some typical seisiun tunes. All instruments are welcome, tin whistle, flute, etc. Students must already know how to play their instrument.

Welcome to West Coast Swing – the smoothest and sexiest of the Swing dances. Learn to dance like the pros in the “slot” as we cover moves like Sugar Push, Side Pass, Tuck & Turn, and variations of 6 and 8-count patterns. Enjoy a fun, energetic workout while dancing to the best Rhythm & Blues tunes of all time.

Learn to play piano the way professionals do, using chords. A recording of the class will be included.

In just a few hours, you can learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment. This crash course will teach you the basics of playing chords and help you play along with your favorite songs right away.

Learn how to play songs without relying on music. A very practical presentation of music theory that includes predicting chord progressions, learning from recordings, and transposing, all expressed in everyday language. This is an ideal follow-up to the “Instant Piano” class and is open to anyone who has a basic understanding of chords on any instrument. Expand your musical horizons, free yourself from sheet music dependence, and be the life of the party! Prior experience with chords is recommended.

In this intermediate course, led by the owner of the New England Accordion Connection & Museum Company in North Canaan, CT, you will further explore how to play the accordion and how to read musical notes. Although registered students will play available accordions on-site during class, students must have access to a piano-style accordion at home to practice their homework. An optional but strongly recommended textbook will be available for purchase in class for $25, payable directly to the instructor. Additionally, there is an optional $50 charge for sheet music, and accordions will also be available for purchase for those who wish to buy their own.

Designed for those who already know how to swing dance and want to expand their repertoire with more exciting moves! We’ll explore a variety of fun moves from both open and closed positions, including underarm turns, kicks, spins, wraps, slides, and extended figures beyond the usual 6-count patterns.
