Chell's Charcuterie Class (In-Person) Litchfield

This interactive class is an experience that brings people together through the love of food. For the seasoned entertainer or novice, this class will elevate your skills and teach you how to design and present a stunning charcuterie board. You will be guided through the process of creating a salami flower, a kiwi star, a provolone rose, and much more! The fee includes four cheeses, two meats, a selection of dried and fresh fruits, fresh herbs, crackers or flatbread, and a 9” bamboo disposable board. All tools will be provided for use during class (not included for take-home use).
Pressed Flower Bookmark ( In Person ) Litchfield

Explore the art of pressed botanicals in this hands-on class. Create a 6” x 2” bookmark using pressed flowers and foliage, which will be laminated and finished with a colorful tassel. This class will also include a presentation on pressed flower art, covering types of flower presses, varieties of pressed materials, techniques, and a gallery of inspiring artwork. Suminagashi: Ink Floating on Water (In-Person) Litchfield

Discover the ancient Japanese art of marbling, practiced for over a thousand years. Learn to create intricate designs by floating black and colored inks on water and manipulating them with specialized tools. Once dried, your marbled papers can be used for book covers, artwork, collage, calligraphy, poetry, and more. Bring your own supplies from a list provided in advance, or purchase a full kit from the instructor for $5 at the first class.

The class will focus on design, material options, tool usage, and more. Materials include surgical steel, gold plate, and brass components. Each student will create two stunning pairs of earrings. Wearable Art: Metal-Stamped Bracelet Cuff (In-Person) Watertown

Create your own metal-stamped bracelet cuff in this beginner-friendly, hands-on class. Work with allergen-free metal that is safe to wear in water. All hammers, bender bars, font sets, ink, and other tools will be provided for use during class. Learn stamping techniques, how to avoid common mistakes, and more as you personalize your bracelet with a short statement, initials, or patterns. A $30 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
