Intermediate "Cool Moves" Swing ( In Person ) Woodbury

Designed for those who already know how to swing dance and want to expand their repertoire with more exciting moves! We’ll explore a variety of fun moves from both open and closed positions, including underarm turns, kicks, spins, wraps, slides, and extended figures beyond the usual 6-count patterns

Getting Paid To Talk: An Introduction To Professional Voice Over ( Online )

If you’ve ever wondered how to begin in voice over part time, full time, or for supplemental or retirement income, this workshop is a great, upbeat, and most importantly, realistic first step. Our easy-to-access remote learning system will take you behind the scenes at Voice Coaches main studios, where we regularly produce voice over content for clients including Netflix, Discovery, HGTV, Disney, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, and many more. From audio books, training material, animation, and commercials to socially relevant content, television, and much, much more: today’s voice over field has become a great way to leverage your individual voice qualities and communication skill in a whole new way. This class also includes an opportunity to receive a brief one-on-one voice range & quality assessment with our instructor.
Sea Glass Wire Wrapping 101 ( In Person ) Watertown

AARP Smart Driver Course ( In Person ) Litchfield
with Bill Tierney
In this refresher course for drivers 50+ years old, participants review the challenges faced by aging drivers and receive guidance on how to continue driving safely. Students must bring their AARP card to class if they have one. There will be a fee payable to “AARP” at the time of class, $20 fee for members and $25 for non-members

Food Safety Manager Certificate Training ( In Person ) Litchfield

***THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD AT EDADVANCE IN LITCHFIELD***
Do you want to become a Certified Food Operator? Take this intensive, one-day, 8-hour Food Safety Manager Certification course developed by the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association, which is part of the Foundation’s ServSafe® risk management series. Successful completion of this course will earn you a food safety certification after passing a 90-question exam. Book is included in course fee and needs to be reviewed prior to class and will be mailed to students.
