Suminagashi: Ink Floating on Water (In-Person) Falls Village
with Christina Di Marco
Discover the ancient Japanese art of marbling, practiced for over a thousand years. Learn to create intricate designs by floating black and colored inks on water and manipulating them with specialized tools. Once dried, your marbled papers can be used for book covers, artwork, collage, calligraphy, poetry, and more. Bring your own supplies from a list provided in advance, or purchase a full kit from the instructor for $5 at the first class.
Beginning Hustle & West Coast Swing (In-Person) Watertown

In just four evenings, dive into the basics of two dynamic swing dances - Hustle, one of the quickest dances, and West Coast Swing, one of the smoothest dances. Dancing to classic Disco and R&B hits, you’ll master moves in both circular patterns and the “slot,” including the Sugar Push, Side Pass, Tuck & Turn, and 6- and 8-count pattern variations.

Explore the fundamentals of artificial intelligence in this hands-on, beginner-friendly course. Learn how AI is shaping everyday life and how to use tools like ChatGPT - no coding experience required. You’ll gain an understanding of AI basics, evaluate its uses and limitations, and learn to confidently apply AI tools in daily tasks, work, and lifelong learning. This course also covers AI history, current trends, privacy and ethics, and practical applications in writing, organization, and image generation. A free textbook (OER via Canvas) will be provided by the instructor. Students are encouraged to purchase a paid ChatGPT subscription ($20/month) for enhanced features, which will be demonstrated in class. If preferred, students may use a free ChatGPT account at chatgpt.com.
Origami for Beginners (In-Person) Litchfield

Discover the ancient Japanese art of origami in this engaging course. Learn the fundamentals of paper folding and how to read and interpret origami diagrams, giving you the skills to follow patterns and create a wide variety of designs.
