$95
This course explores Connecticut’s significant contributions to the American Revolution. As we approach the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we examine the Nutmeg State’s role as a “provisional state,” the experiences of officers and regular soldiers who fought in the Continental Army, the attacks on Connecticut’s shoreline towns, the operations of the Culper Spy Ring, and the tensions between the “Connecticans” who remained loyal to Britain and those who fought for independence
