Learn the fundamental skills of dressmaking, including a brief history of the industry, fashion illustration, design tools, fabric sourcing, design, and garment construction. By the end of the course, each student will complete a basic knit trapeze dress. A supply list will be provided one week before the first class. Supplies, including the dress pattern, can be purchased from the instructor for $10. An optional textbook will also be available for purchase in class for $30.
